Elf Letters at Midnight: Night of the Third

For the last couple of years, beginning on the first of December, Elves from the North Pole have visited our home. While my family and I are...nestled (sorry, couldn't resist) in our beds, the elves with very peculiar and interesting names frolic downstairs dropping off little tiny gifts for the girls. Before leaving, they always have written a letter (usually hand-written) addressed just for the girls. Taking advantage of the opportunity, they don't fail to mention the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of family. The girls are always very excited about the letter and of course the little gifts that that the Elves leave behind.

The following are the letters they have written.

Good morning my three little sunshine-filled angels!! It sounds like yesterday you made some good choices and spoke with love to one another...I'm so excited and proud of you! Hey, want to do us another favor? Of course you do! Because you are so wonderful! Okay, so I want you to think about what you can give to other people...since this is the season. But no toys (that would be nice too). What can you do to help someone else out? How could you make a good choice that would make someone else happy? I can't wait to hear what you came up with. We love you, girls and think there is something extraordinarily special about you and your family. Remember, we love you but more importantly, remember that your mommy and daddy love you no matter what and so does God! What a great thought!

Merry Christmas!
