Elf Letters at Midnight: Night of the Sixteenth

For the last couple of years, beginning on the first of December, Elves from the North Pole have visited our home. While my family and I are...nestled (sorry, couldn't resist) in our beds, the elves with very peculiar and interesting names frolic downstairs dropping off little tiny gifts for the girls. Before leaving, they always have written a letter (usually hand-written) addressed just for the girls. Taking advantage of the opportunity, they don't fail to mention the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of family. The girls are always very excited about the letter and of course the little gifts that that the Elves leave behind.

Following are the letters they have written.

Hi, Girls! How are you?! We are so excited to be in your home! Your trees are so pretty and well-decorated and your pictures hanging on the fridge are so wonderful. You girls are so pretty and talented.  I hear that Madison is a super-reader and loves math and is a creative writer too…and that Bailey is reading really well and is great at puzzles and is trying to get Lion’s Pride. That’s great! Good luck! I also hear you are using your voice more at school! Exciting! Sophie, I hear you are doing super duper great at preschool and that your drawings are outstanding! You girls are so awesome! What a great and love-filled home you have.

Things are hectic up North, but Santa is so jolly and always laughing, he makes us love our work. We love you girls! Keep making good choices.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Love,

Paige, Grace and Faith

p.s. At this very second there is…9 days, 2 hours, 52 minutes and 3 seconds until Christmas! Yee-Haa!
